Ginkgo Leaves

For thousands of years, leaves from the Ginkgo biloba tree have been a common treatment in Chinese medicine. In the U.S., many take Ginkgo supplements in the belief that they will improve memory and sharpen thinking.
Ginkgo improves blood flow to the brain and acts as an antioxidant. These effects may translate into some benefits for certain medical problems, but the results have been mixed.
The source of our Ginkgo Leaves is from audited supplier from Guangxi Province, one of the main growing areas of Ginkgo biloba trees in China. We buy Ginkgo Leaves from our audited suppliers who grow Ginkgo biloba trees in remote mountainous areas far away from industries with low heavy metals, managing the application of pesticides as per our supervision so that there is no pollution of pesticide residues in the products.
The best harvest time is in May-Jul., when the flavone and terpene lactones in the leaves are the highest in the year. After being manually collected from the growing area, the Ginkgo Leaves with diseases and insect pests will be removed, and then the good ones will be placed thinly in the sunshine for 2-3 days until they are well dried. In rainy days, Ginkgo Leaves can be dried in ovens with a temperature about 55℃ for about 4 hours.
The annual output of Ginkgo Leaves of our company is about 100 tons.
Our Ginkgo Leaves are mainly used as medicinal herbs. It can also be used as raw materials of pharmaceuticals, and as raw materials for drinks.
